Twenty years

Without being fully aware, I was drifting into deep waters. Learning to navigate life all alone for the first time, no family, no girls, no housemates, just a large flat screen, the Internet and all kinds of substances to keep me company.

And loneliness amplified by empty spaces. Eerie isolation in the highrise with pulsating city underneath.

I might have felt infinite at times, and at some others, there was this quiet desperation hiding beneath the antics.

Tough times. And no lifeline. Untangling my thoughts took years, first shaping the general direction and then accelerating — on so many levels: relationships, career, wealth, mindfulness — before slowing down to concentrate on wellbeing alone.

The art of not giving a fuck.

The art of playing the game by one's rules.

The sunshine coming from within.
